GmDNAJC7 from Soybean Is Involved in Plant Tolerance to Alkaline-Salt, Salt, and Drought Stresses

Soybean [Glycine max (L.) Merri.] is an important oilseed and food crop. In recent years, environmental degradation has accelerated soil alkalization, salinization, water deficit, which have seriously threatened the soybean quality yield. Chaperone DNAJ proteins play roles in plant response to a number of abiotic biotic stresses. Here, we investigated function gene, GmDNAJC7, tolerance GmDNAJC7 gene expression was induced by alkaline-salt, salt, drought treatments roots, suggesting its possible role these overexpression improved alkaline-salt composite plants, showed higher SPAD (Soil Plant Analysis Development) value for chlorophyll content leaf relative than control plants after NaHCO3 treatment. Moreover, overexpressing Arabidopsis had germination rate average root length wild type dnajc7 mutant, under NaHCO3, NaCl, mannitol stresses, indicating that ectopic enhanced Arabidopsis. These findings suggest involved soybean. This study provides new insights into stress.
